Jonathan Carruthers-Jones is a full member of the International Union of Mountain Leaders
Six stage professional training process which lasts at least 4-5 years and includes for example:
mountain first aid,security on steep ground,advanced navigation and a range of environmental aspects such as flora and fauna
The qualification is backed by professional insurance and I am also a member of the French Union of Accompagnateur en Moyenne Montagne.
